Individually Planned Care

Care Management enables our clients to benefit from the expertise of senior health and social care professionals with many years experience. Each client has their own designated Care Manager who offers not only advice and support to our clients but also peace of mind for their families and friends. One of our Care Managers is available 24hrs a day, 7 days a week in order to closely direct the ongoing programme of care.

Our assessment process is built-up over the first few weeks and includes not only the identification of needs and degree of dependency, but also general advice and guidance, including information about sources of possible financial support.

Day-to-day support is provided by our own capable, friendly, flexible staff. They are able to assist with personal care, domestic tasks and offer companionship for outings etc - whatever is most appropriate. We place great emphasis on continuity of care from a regular team of compatible carers, so that you have familiar people in your home.

We know how essential it is for you and your family to have confidence in the people who are helping you. Aspen Hamilton has a comprehensive training programme and all staff are required to join the PVG Scheme.

Aspen Hamilton’s staff are selected carefully, placed appropriately, fully briefed on the Plan of Care, and closely supervised by our Care Managers. They are the key to our efficient operation - and your comfort.

Please contact us for a list of our charges. A full costing is available if required prior to commencing. All our charges are VAT exempt and we make no additional charge for Saturdays or Sundays.

FAQs -

Q. Can I cancel the arrangement if for example my family come to stay at short notice?

A.Yes - our service is completely flexible, designed to suit your individual requirements, we can easily suspend visits in such circumstances.

Q. Are there any benefits available to help pay for my care?

You may be entitled to one or more state benefits to help pay for all or at least part of your care. Our Care Managers can guide you through the benefits minefield!

Q. Do you charge more on Bank Holidays?

A. We only charge more on the main Xmas & New Year Public Holidays.

Q. Do your carers have cars? Could they take me on an outing or to an appointment in their car?

A Some of our carers do have cars, those that are insured for business use will be happy to take you on an outing. We can also provide non car driving carers who could escort you by bus or taxi.

Q. Do I have to provide linen for night staff doing a sleepover?

A. No, to ease your laundry worries, we ask our night carers to bring their own bedding, normally a sleeping bag & pillowcase.
